InHe China’s Mission

At InHe China, our mission is to invite people from around the world to China for a genuine, immersive encounter with its traditional culture—and to bring the depth, wisdom, and living spirit of Chinese civilization to a global audience.

Buddhism in Wutai Mountain

Mount Wutai is one of China’s most revered Buddhist sacred mountains and is traditionally regarded as the earthly home of Manjushri (Wenshu) Bodhisattva, the symbol of wisdom. For centuries, pilgrims have come to its cool highlands and temple clusters to pray, study, and practice—drawn by a landscape where monasteries, chanting halls, incense, and mountain paths naturally invite contemplation. Wutai is also known for welcoming multiple Buddhist traditions over time, creating a rare meeting point where faith, history, and mountain serenity blend into a living spiritual culture.
